Our Mission

Heights Elementary IB World School is dedicated to developing balanced, lifelong learners through educational excellence, a global perspective, reflection and action.

Our Vision

To Be A World Class School

Our PBIS Mission Statement

We strive to be a school that models positive behaviors which develop the child and social skills.  We have a common culture and language which supports student growth and high expectations to empower our students to become well-rounded global citizens through teaching and recognizing positive behavior.

The School District is proud to announce 40 schools have been chosen as PBIS Model Schools by the Florida Department of Education PBIS Project. PBIS refers to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support, which encompasses research-based strategies used to increase quality of life and decrease problem behavior by teaching new skills and making changes in a person's environment.

Schools can be awarded one of four levels – Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.

Heights Elementary is honored to be recognized as a Platinum PBIS School. We love watching our students thrive through positivity.

Create Your Focus Parent Portal Account

IMPORTANT: If you are receiving the error message "The student you requested could not be found", this most likely means your child's social security number is not on file with the district. Once registration is complete, please allow time for an administrator to verify your account.

To add additional children to your Focus Parent Portal account, go to the Focus login page and select "Click here to add a child to an existing Focus Parent Portal account".
